About the event
Hey there! Welcome to our online peer support group dedicated to destigmatizing grief and shame. We know that growing up with a parent's mental health challenges and substance use can be super challenging, and so we created resources to share with peers in hopes to create a space for us to heal through what we have or are currently going through.
This safe and inclusive virtual space is specifically designed for youth and young adults (18+). healing.
These sessions change monthly and are co-facilitated by peers who have personal experience with a parent's substance use and/or the loss of a parent to a toxic drug supply. Their lived experience adds a unique perspective and empathy to the support group, fostering a deeper understanding and connection among participants.
Who it's for:
This online support group is open to youth and young adults aged 18 and above who have experienced grief and/or shame related to a parent's substance use.
Come to share your story, ask questions, share resources or tips, or listen in a non-judgmental environment. Together, we can navigate the journey of healing and empowerment.
